NorthDenmark Chamber of Commerce
Established in 1431 the NorthDenmark Chamber of Commerce is by far the oldest business organisation in Denmark. Counting 600+ members it is also the largest and the strongest of its kind.
As a private non-profit organisation, it is our goal as well as our core competence to provide the members and thus the business community of the region with added value. This is done through networking across industries, political influence on the development conditions of private enterprises in a globalised world, and informative business events for our members.
We represent companies and individuals within all aspects of business life from trade, industry, and business services to IT, tourism, transportation, and education.
The NorthDenmark Chamber of Commerce is proactive in the business policy debate - and we are the preferred dialogue partner in the business development of Aalborg and Northern Denmark.
Our work is based on the needs of the members. We collaborate with stakeholders from industry, educational institutions, and policymakers. To ensure still better conditions for business our current key issues are
- Education and employment
- Cooperation with the public sector
Since a significant portion of the members of the NorthDenmark Chamber of Commerce have export relations, we have a strong focus on relationships outside our home country. Currently, we have established links with these international partners:
- British Chamber of Commerce in Denmark
- Danish-German Chamber of Commerce (Deutsch-Dänische Handelskammer)
- Danish-American Business Council Los Angeles
- Barcelona Chamber of Commerce (Cambra Barcelona)
- West Sweden Chamber of Commerce (Västsvenska Handelskammaren Göteborg)
- Oslo Chamber of Commerce
- KVK Amsterdam
- Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry
